5 Chinese companies that are not xing-ling at all
The term “xing-ling” has become popularly associated with cheap or low-quality products that originate from China. However, many still have a certain distrust with items that are manufactured there, even if their quality is proven.
Below, in descending alphabetical order, we list some companies that in no way can be associated with the term “xing-ling”. These are companies that today are among the largest in the world in the segments in which they operate and whose product quality is amply proven: in other words, you can take their device home without fear.
1 – Xiaomi
Founded in April 2010, Xiaomi is currently led by Hugo Barra, a Brazilian who already worked at Google and helped develop Android. Xiaomi debuted in Brazil in July 2015 with the Redmi2 smartphone, sold at one of the most competitive prices in the national market. Today, it is one of the fastest growing companies in the world in the sale of smartphones.
2 – Lenovo
Lenovo is the world's largest computer maker and one of the top three in mobile phones. It recently acquired IBM's PC division and Motorola's cell phone division, while in Brazil it acquired CCE. Based in China and spread across the globe, Lenovo has a vast product portfolio, but its best-known lines are notebooks and smartphones.
3 – Huawei
The world's largest telecommunications and network equipment multinational, China's Huawei is one of the major developers of technologies such as 4G and 5G. With products and services spread across more than 140 countries, the company also produces smartphones and, in recent years, it has only grown.
4 – Asus
ASUS is one of the leading Chinese electronics manufacturers and produces smartphones, tablets, computers, servers and routers, as well as components such as motherboards, cases, graphics cards and other services. It also has a complete gamer line (ASUS ROG) and today it has reached the third position as the largest notebook manufacturer in the world.
Although its headquarters are in Taiwan, the country is still dependent in many respects on the People's Republic of China.
5 – Acer
Taiwanese Acer is the world's third-largest computer maker and ranks second in Taiwan's trade retail chain. It works with desktops, notebooks, servers, storage peripherals, monitors, TVs, tablets and cell phones.
